Cinema Studio is for planning a video before you pay to generate it. You lay out shots, direct the camera, and generate frames in place — the storyboard stays the source of truth.

What it gives you

AI-generated shot language

Turns a plain description into proper shot language — framing, lens, movement.

Reference images per frame

Each frame carries its own references, so look is controlled per shot instead of globally.

Generate in place

Generate a frame directly on the board and keep working — the result returns to the board.

Phone-as-camera (VCam)

Use your phone as a physical camera with a live viewfinder. See CamView.

Keyframed camera & figures

Keyframe camera moves and figure animation rather than hoping a prompt implies motion.

Director look → prompt

Describe the look as a director; it becomes a cinematographer’s prompt.

Why plan first

Video is the most expensive output in Pixio, and prompt-only direction is the least predictable way to get a specific shot. Deciding framing and camera movement before generating means you buy the shot you meant instead of iterating at video prices.
Storyboard the sequence, generate stills to confirm composition, then commit to video. Two cheap steps to avoid one expensive mistake.

Storyboards

Storyboards are saved separately and managed on their own page — see Storyboards.

Where it fits

Storyboard CRUD and prompt-to-storyboard direction are available through the API. See what you can automate.
