How credits work

Cost per run

Each model has its own price. It’s shown in the model list and again before you submit, so you always know the cost up front.

Failed runs are free

If a generation fails, you aren’t charged. You only pay for output you actually get.
What drives the cost:
  • Output type — images are cheap, video is expensive, 3D and audio sit in between
  • Duration — video and audio models are often billed per second
  • Resolution and quality — higher settings cost more on most models
  • Model tier — a fast draft model and a flagship model differ by a lot

Free credits

Every new account gets 50 credits that never expire, with access to all major models. No card required to start.

Yearly billing works out to roughly ten months for twelve.

Maker Mode

Maker Mode is the “stop counting” tier — unlimited generations on a wide set of models plus unlimited LoRAs. Instead of drawing down a balance on every run, eligible models are covered by the plan.
Unlimited applies to the models included in Maker Mode, not literally every model in the catalog. The app shows which models are covered.

LoRA training

Training your own custom models requires Premium or above. Maker Mode removes the cap on how many you can have. See Model Training in the app.

Credit packs

One-time packs add permanent credits that don’t expire with your billing cycle: Useful for a busy month without changing your subscription. Packs stack on top of your monthly allowance.

Running out

When your balance won’t cover a run, Pixio tells you before starting it — nothing gets queued and nothing is charged. From there you can upgrade your plan or buy a credit pack on the Billing page.

Billing page

Open Billing from your profile menu to see your plan, your current balance, and your payment details, and to change plans or cancel.

Personal vs team

A team account bills separately from your personal account. Team billing is usually managed by an admin — see Teams & Account.
Prices and credit allowances here reflect the current plans. The Billing page in the app is always authoritative for your account.
