Why it matters

Good prompts are work. Prompt History means that work isn’t lost when you close a tab:
  • Reuse what worked instead of reconstructing it from memory
  • Compare two prompts that produced different results
  • Reuse across models — a prompt that worked on one model is a strong starting point on another
When something turns out well, note why in the prompt itself if you can. Six months later “cinematic, low angle, 35mm” is legible; a wall of modifiers isn’t.
